I couldn’t be more wrong about the “no celebration” bit

It took my matter-of-fact, practical husband 3 long years to perfect the art of anniversary surprises (Every other time I have usually had an inkling. This time, no frikking clue!) And 3 long years to buy me flowers instead of gadgets. This keeps getting better. Guess who got “righter” than before. Yeah well, sometimes we all turn to mush. I am not 19 anymore, and I am not going to pretend I am too cool for good ol’ flowers and champagne. Sometimes mush is a good thing. It had been a while. “It” wasn’t lost but it had become difficult to get hold of in the overdose of everyday madness. And sometimes “it” is a good thing to be reminded of. Know what I am saying?
